A person is far wiser to rejoice for those things which they have, then to grieve for the things which they do not have!
If you are reading this message, at one time or another you have wished for a new computer, new transportation, perhaps a new home or update. Sometimes we wish for new jobs, better jobs.
Giving thanks for the computer you have. The transportation you have. The home you have (whatever the example) is most important. You are among the 10% wealthiest people in the entire world! The ability to even have a computer, internet, TV, transportation, a home, running water, electricity, bills… it IS a blessing!
I understand that sometimes we have times in life that we have too many good things and bills add up to more than we have to spend on them. Most of the time that is due to choices we have made, either good ones or ones that didn’t benefit us! Wrap your hands around the idea that we are LUCKY we are PRIVILEGED we should be GRATEFUL for even being in a country that we can have these “issues.”
Take time to think about what you have. Don’t worry about what you don’t have or what others have. Be at peace with what you have. It is not a bad thing to want nice things or to plan to make purchases that allow new and upgraded items into your life. Do so carefully, thoughtfully and intentionally.
